In our latest Favourite Local Fabric Designers Collection, we’re collaborating with the talented designers from Binary Style, Minor Miracles and Onlewo to bring you, especially you— print lovers, a very exclusive collaboration that you’ll love.
In this post, read about our heart-to-heart talk with Santhi and Sari Tunas, co-founders of Binary Style, in their beautiful home as they share about what inspires them and their designs.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO DO WHAT YOU DO?
Binary Style starts in 2015. It started out of a creative itch to create something aesthetically appealing, playful and relatable. It is inspired by Singapore’s architecture and nature.
Elegant, high quality prints of Singapore’s historic Bukit Timah Forest beautifully compliment our Art deco inspired rattan frame.
PLEASE TELL US A BIT ABOUT THE FEATURED PRINT IN THIS COLLABORATION.
To feature the elusive creatures of the Bukit Timah Forest, the mouse deer.
Kantjil also represents a folkloric creature in Singapore’s narrative.
We would like to feature it in a more modern context, to make them more relatable.
Natural, undyed leather bindings up the understated luxe factor in THE MAVERICK Cane Chair.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE PIECE OF FURNITURE AT HOME? IF YOU DO, PLEASE TELL US MORE ABOUT IT.
Favourite piece of furniture in the house: the lounge-y day bed on which we could work on our laptops, relax, and entertain friends. It is the centre piece in our living room.
