MusicCloth® Paper Cut Animals marries the ancient folk art of Chinese Paper Cut (jiǎnzhǐ 剪纸) with MusicCloth® - an innovative material, hand woven out of cassette tapes.
Made by Rehyphen®, each cloth is meticulously woven together by artisans using discarded cassette tapes from the analogue days - the result, a rich fabric layered with uniqueness and sentimentality.
满院春光 - The light of springtime gently dapples through a bounteous bamboo grove.
壮志凌云 - Renewed aspirations soar amongst billowing clouds.
Framed in a self-standing walnut frame, behind each piece is a label bearing the name of the original cassette tape which was used.
