The Ivory Nonya Collection is a modern twist to the decorative ceramic tiles used by early Peranakans to adorn their homes. Usually in pastel-coloured floral motifs, they fit perfectly into the Victorian architecture – reflecting the East and West blend of the Straits Chinese. Due to both time and modernisation in Singapore, the production of these tiles has slowly diminished. This collection seeks to revive the tradition for the contemporary homes.

Playing a significant role in CNY celebrations, The Padma Treasure Box from our Singapura Collection is designed to serve special treats and snacks that bring happiness, health and abundance during the festivities.

The Padma motif is inspired by the typical use of the lotus motif found in Peranakan porcelain. In Chinese culture, the colour red is seen to be auspicious, symbolising good fortune and joy.
